For my science class I have to research Earth and Mars and present my findings in an interesting way. My senario is:
The Go to Mars company has just made it possible to live on Mars. I need to compare and contrast what life of Earth vs. Mars would be like.
I will also need to discuss what has been put in place to make living there possible and present my work on this website.
Although the planet Earth has the perfect characteristics for the existence of life, the overpopulation and pollution associated with rapid human development lead scientists to question the future of human life on Earth. Faced with these questions, many seek the answer in space. The most likely place we could colonise is Mars.
Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun, the second most habitable planet in our solar system and water has been detected but it unfortunately is undrinkable. Mars is a telluric (rocky) planet just like Earth and is often referred to as the "Red Planet" because the predominant iron oxide on its surface gives it a reddish appearance.
It may seem impossible, but manned trips to Mars are already planned for 2025! Not being able to escape our curiosity, astronomers, physicists, engineers and researchers from different areas of the world unite to soon put Man on Mars making it possible to establish a colony on this planet and will leave another milestone in the history of Humanity.
